North Carolina state parks, recreation areas, NC scenic areas

North Carolina, aside from being the 10th most populated state and having a prosperous real estate market, abounds in scenic beauty and consequently has a large number of state parks and recreation areas. Here is a list of the NC state parks and recreation areas:

Some of my favorites are Hanging Rock State Park, Crowders Mountain State Park, Stone Mountain State Park and Jockey’s Ridge State Park.
