United Van Lines 2007 migration study, North Carolina, south

United Van Lines has just come out with it’s 31st annual migration study which shows where people are moving from and moving to. The south was the top region and North Carolina was top state people are moving to. North Carolina experienced 61.6 percent inbound moves. Nationwide Nevada came in second at 59.4 percent. Oregon had 58.4 percent inbound.

States that did not do well and that had high outbound rates were Michigan, 67.8 percent, North Dakota, 67.2 percent and New Jersey, 61 percent.
